Editorial standards
Three rules govern every page on Landed.
- Every number has a source. If a figure on this site cannot be traced to a primary source we will show you on request, it does not belong on the page.
- Every voice is real. The residents we quote agreed to be quoted. Names and identifying details have been adjusted in some cases at request. We never invent residents, never assign specific statements to specific real people without consent, and never let a composite imply otherwise.
- Every correction is public. When we get something wrong, we log it here, dated, with the original claim, the correction, and the source.
Corrections log
No corrections have been logged yet. When the first one is logged, it will appear here with the date, the page, the claim that was wrong, and the corrected claim. We do not silently edit pages.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the specific claim, the page URL, and the source you believe is correct. We aim to process corrections within seventy-two hours.
What is not a correction
Cosmetic edits, prose tightening, and updates to the last-reviewed date are not corrections. A correction is any change to a factual claim, a quoted statement, or a sourced number. The last-updated stamp on each article reflects the most recent material change, not cosmetic edits.
